thanksgiving with three generations . . .

Thanksgiving is a traditionally a family holiday, not just biological family, but covenantal family. So around our table of thanks we had "family" and we celebrated God's gifts to us with the usual "feast". God is so good. In addition to grown-ups we had 2 of our great-grandchildren - Aiden Michael (3 years) and Maggie (4 mos) in our home. What a switch for us to have infant and toddler around the house. We enjoyed them so very much. Aiden is "nuts" about trains, so Breton Village's train set-up was "just the ticket" for a family outing with Great Grandma and Great Grandpa caring for the infant. Maggie even helped me play Scrabble (see picture of the week).
